What do you do with ugly outbuildings? Cover ‘em with slab lumber for a very nice rustic look.
A couple of shacks out back….ummm..what can be done with them to improve the appearance so the eye sore goes away. Answer – slab lumber from the lumber mill used as siding not fire wood. A few screws & my handy dandy screw gun & I transformed these ugly little out building into rustic beauties. My nephew Tyler Golka was a great help in finishing off the job. Spring 2007.
Slab Wood from the lumber mill is the outside slice of the log. Normally I use this for firewood but it sure came in handy for these little storage outbuildings.
