It’s summertime and — as the saying goes — the living is easy.  Hot BBQ + cold drinks = a good time!

Date: Saturday, August 14, 2010, Starts at noon to ? All week end if you like!
Time: All day or stay the week-end, Lots ‘O’ Space. Bring the kids, dogs, relatives & friends!
Place: Joe’s Place.

If everyone brings their favorite dish, what a picnic smorg we will have!

 Update:  Joe is doing a pig-on-a-spit this year.  120 LBS of pork is enough to feed  a lot of  hungry folks.  Pig on the Spit BBQ, 2010.

Well, it’s Friday night & Joe picked up the BBQ and the PIG (all 120 lbs). It took Joe, Louie and Mom to lift it onto the BBQ…phew.  Starting the fire at 8am, hope it is cooked by dinner time.

Fish in the Nith River, bring your ATV – lots of room to zoom around,  Horseshoes Tournament,  Guitars at the campfire,  set up a campsite for the week-end…endless ideas.

Joe is supplying the corn on the cob and the campfire.

Will you bring: Salads?   Cold Drinks?  Ice?  Games  ideas for the Kids, prizes?

Please let me know what you would like to bring as we don’t want to much of one thing.

BYOC ( bring your own chairs), some grub and be prepared to have some fun and catch up on the family news!

Hey, it’s January 7, 2010 & I finally got enough snow to get my favorite big boy toy out of the barn!  Didn’t even bundle up to take the Kabota through it’s paces.  All is good and am still wondering where the snow is?  

Found this YouTube Video with the same model in action. It may have a few years on it but with good maintenance, it runs like new every year. This one has a cab to keep the operator warm & dry (I wish).
